Salaniponi, who was speaking at a workshop about Malawi s TB policies in prisons, said his office requires 1.5 billion kwacha, or about $11 million, annually to purchase drugs and to provide training and screening. He said the government supplies the program with 500 million kwacha, or about $4 million.
