BIDDEFORD, Maine 鈥?With less than three weeks until the Nov. 8 election, a Biddeford resident has raised allegations that Matt Lauzon, Independent candidate for House District 12, may be constitutionally ineligible to run for the Legislature.Christopher Quint, a media consultant who lives in District 12, is claiming that Lauzon, who is running against incumbent Democrat Martin Grohman, is ineligible to run for state representative because he has failed to establish proper Maine residency.According to the Maine Constitution, a person who runs for the Legislature must be a resident of the state for at least one year prior to the Legislatures first meeting in December.
