stanley mugs 211; Kentucky State Police has begun training their largest class of cadets in nearly a decade.Recently, KSP welcomed 103 new cadets, the largest number since 2014, to their Frankfort training academy.Due to the recent $15,000 salary increase for KSP sworn personnel and tireless efforts from the recruitment branch the state police now employ 22 percent more troopers compared to late 2021.The cadets will undergo 24 weeks of basic training with more than 1,000 hours of law enforcement education in constitutional law, weapons training, search and seizure, race relations and social intelligence, and much, much more.KSP Post 3 Trooper Daniel Priddy said, It great to have this large class.
