Owning an OG5K avatar has its privileges. At the Game of Silks quarterly review Tuesday, the Silks team announced that owners of the first 5,000 avatars minted, known as the OG5K avatars, will be airdropped a special Series 1 Stable at a random time and date in the near future. The game’s inaugural racing season begins in April.
Owners will have the option of erecting this rare stable on their Sky Falls land parcels or selling this asset on the secondary market. Only 5,000 Series 1 Stables will be produced, so these assets have the potential to rise in value as the Game of Silks community grows. They also signal to the community that owners were committed to the game’s success from the start.
The Series 1 Stables are visually stunning structures inspired by the Silks Series 1 delivery vehicle, which brings each horse to its owner after it’s been minted. They were developed as an exclusive gift for OG5K holders. Silks Head of Product Binny Plotkin said the creative team put an enormous amount of “time and passion” into creating the Series 1 Stable, developing multiple concepts before settling on the final design.
Series 1 Stables are two-story, pyramid-shaped buildings that bring a modern look to the classic horse stable. With their steeply sloped roof and beautiful, spacious wooden interiors, these stables are sure to be popular hangout spots for Silks owners and their friends when the game’s metaverse is fully launched.

In Game of Silks, each racehorse must be stabled on a horse farm, with one horse allowed per acre of land. Farms can range in size from one acre to 100 acres.
Farms with fewer than 10 acres will be considered private, and only the owner will be able to stable horses there. Larger farms will be public, allowing the owner to set the terms of stabling, including which horses may stable there, how long they must commit to staying there and the percentage of horses’ winnings that will to go the farm as a stabling fee.
Owners of Sky Falls land parcels will need to build a stable to turn them into working horse farms. Rights to build a Founders Stable are embedded within Sky Falls parcels, so landowners within the 25,000-acre Sky Falls region can build a stable at no additional cost. In the future, other regions will be added to increase the Silks metaverse to 202,500 acres, but stables for those parcels will come at an additional cost.
Since there is a limited amount of land available, farms have the potential to rise in value as more players discover the game.
Owners of OG5K avatars may either build their free Founders Stable and eventually sell their Series 1 Stable or keep their Series 1 Stable for their own farms. They may not sell their Founders Stable. Those structures were designed to reflect the beauty of more traditional stables. All stables are customized to reflect each owner’s Dynasty Silks.
