USES: Zopiclone is used to treat sleeping problems . HOW TO USE: Take this medication by mouth before bedtime as directed. This medication is usually taken for short periods of up to 4 weeks. Do not increase the dose or take this for longer than prescribed. Tolerance may develop with long-term or excessive use making it less effective.
7.5 mg by oral administration shortly before retiring for a maximum of 2-4 weeks. This dose should not be exceeded. Depending on clinical response, the dose may be lowered to 3.75 mg. Zopiclone is not recommended for long term use (i.e. periods of more than 4 weeks). If used for long periods, treatment should be withdrawn gradually.
Nov 19, 2014 · Even if IMOVANE is taken as instructed, some patients may still have zopiclone blood levels high enough to produce impairment. The recommended starting dose has been reduced to 3.75 mg (one-half of the 7.5 mg tablet). IMOVANE should be taken once per night at bedtime. The lowest effective dose for each patient should be used.
